We know that our school isn't as well known as the schools of our competitors. We are well aware that our student-body is made up of a mere couple of a thousand students. We have even taken into consideration that, unlike the majority of our competitors, this is our very first time competing in the Solar Decathlon project. Does any of this really bring us down though? . . . No way!
The Lawrence Tech Solar Decathlon 2007 team takes great pleasure in being small and scrappy. Our team is well educated, well experienced, and well versed in the art of winning.
As Lawrence Tech students, our team is driven by the idea of theory meeting practice. In the classroom, our attention is focused on innovation and excellence. Our lessons become reality through hand-on projects like the Tour de Sol, the Formula Zero Championship, and, of course, the Solar Decathlon.
Furthermore, our team cannot be discouraged. No matter what the task, a group of Lawrence Tech students will do everything in their power to get the job done. Some say that our stubbornness is ingenious. Others say that we're just too imperceptive to know when to quit. Either way, we're committed, competitive and ready to show the world what we've got!
